Subject packs
Beyond the general operations, six packs bring the calculations specific to a field. They sit in “≡ Selection” ▸ Operation, at the bottom, one submenu per pack.
What each pack contains
- Chemistry — molar mass and composition (periodic table built in), equation balancing, stoichiometry and limiting reagent, exact pH, titration curve, kinetics (order and k), Arrhenius, spectrophotometric assay, Nernst potential.
- Biology — DNA sequence (GC %, Tm, translation), Michaelis-Menten, SIR / SEIR epidemic, dose-response (IC50), Hardy-Weinberg, growth curve, diversity indices.
- Geosciences — isotopic dating, WGS84 ↔ CH1903+ coordinates, water balance, Darcy's law, earthquake magnitude and energy.
- Engineering — Bode, Nyquist and poles, Colebrook friction, pipe pressure loss, beam deflection and moment.
- Pharmacology — one- or two-compartment pharmacokinetics, AUC of measured data, creatinine clearance, BMI and body surface area.
- Finance — NPV and IRR of a project, bond price and duration, option (Black-Scholes), amortisation schedule.
The download
A pack's menu is present before any download: you can therefore read what a pack does without loading anything. The pack itself arrives on the first click on one of its entries, then stays cached — later uses are immediate, offline included.
The templates
Each pack brings its example documents, reachable through “From a template”: a complete notebook, already filled in, which you open and modify. It is the fastest way to see what a pack does — and the contents of those templates serve as the examples in all these guides.
Try it: the “Weak acid / strong base titration” template
“From a template” ▸ Weak acid / strong base titration. The notebook plots the whole curve, marks the equivalence point and the half-equivalence (where the pH equals the pKa). Change the concentration of the titrant: the curve and the equivalence jump follow.
Where to go next
A pack's results are ordinary cells: they go into the exports and recompute like the rest of the reactive page.
